As expected, Boston College has fired head football coach Jeff Jagodzinski. The move is expected to be announced at a 3:00 p.m. EST press conference.Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo reportedly warned Jagodzinski that he’d be fired if he interviewed for the Jets’ head-coaching job.  Earlier today, Dan Patrick reported that DeFilippo was miffed because he learned of the interview not from Jagodzinski, but from a reporter.Per the Boston Herald, Jagodzinski could have an opportunity with the Seattle Seahawks, as a member of Jim Mora’s staff. And that would be fitting.  Two years ago, Mora was fired by the Falcons after publicly musing about coaching the University of Washington.  So now he’ll hire a college coach who was fired for flirting with an NFL job.
