Ponder appears to be a healthy go for 'Noles

After this weekend, any lingering concerns regarding the availability of Christian Ponder for Florida State’s game Thursday against North Carolina State have officially gone by the wayside.

The quarterback suffered an injury to his right (throwing) elbow two Saturdays ago, and was held out of practice all last week.

He returned to practice Saturday and, by all accounts, looked as sharp as he did pre-injury.

He threw the ball well,” head coach Jimbo Fisher said. “… I cut some back, because we have so many [passing drills]. … I was shocked at what he did throw.”

having a healthy Ponder would be very significant heading into the game with North Carolina State.  FSU is currently tops in the ACC’s Atlantic Division with a 4-0 mark.  A win over the 2-1 Wolfpack would give the Seminoles complete control of that division with just three conference games remaining.
