Foot surgery to sideline USF DE Marshall indefinitely

South Florida will be without the services of one of their top defensive lineman for what appears to be a significant period of time thanks to an injury suffered in last Friday’s win.

Defensive end Craig Marshall suffered a broken bone in his right foot during the win over the Bearcats and will undergo surgery Tuesday to have pins inserted into the bone.

While there’s no specific prognosis for a return, the St. Petersburg Times reports that the coaching staff is hopeful the senior can come back before the regular season ends Dec. 4 against UConn.

Marshall currently leads the Bulls with four sacks and eight tackles for loss.
