Oklahoma State suspends Justin Blackmon for DUI arrest

One of the biggest reasons why Oklahoma State is one of the most explosives offenses in college football is due to the talents of wide receiver Justin Blackmon.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Blackmon’s talents will be taken and sidelined this weekend.

At a press conference this evening, head coach Mike Gundy announced that Blackmon has been suspended for Saturday’s game against Kansas State.

Blackmon was pulled over early Tuesday morning after being clocked doing 92 mph in a 60 mph zone.  The junior was subsequently arrested on a DUI complaint following a series of field sobriety tests.

Blackmon leads the country in receiving yards per game (158.9) and receiving touchdowns (14), and is second in receptions per game at 8.7.
