Unfortunately for Tennessee, it appears they will face a healthy Marcus Lattimore this weekend.
The true freshman running back sat out South Carolina’s win over Vanderbilt with an ankle injury, although he probably could’ve played if it would have been absolutely critical to the team’s chances at a win.
This weekend, though, Lattimore plans to be on the field as the Gamecocks look to grab further control of their SEC East fate.
“I feel really good,” Lattimore said after practice Wednesday. “I feel 100 percent now.”
Despite missing one complete game and being limited somewhat in another, Lattimore is fourth among SEC RBs with just under ninety yards per game. His 10 rushing touchdowns are second to the 11 of Mississippi State’s Vick Ballard in the conference.
