As we await with bated breath how much longer Jim Harbaugh can string out where he will coach in 2011, how about another underclassman declaration?
Speaking to ESPN.com‘s Joe Schad, UCLA safety Rahim Moore has done the expected and given up collegiate eligibility for a shot at the NFL.
“It’s time to move on,” Moore said. “I have a chance to fulfill a dream, so why not take it? …
“I’m going to work hard. I’m going to be in the film room constantly because that’s what I’ve always done. And I’m going to continue to work on my overall game.”
Moore, a two-time All-American, lead the country in interceptions with 10 in 2009. There’s a fairly decent chance Moore will be the first safety off the board during the April draft.
