One of the cooler college traditions is getting a slight modification.
Ole Miss’ Manning Way, named for Rebels great Archie Manning, has previously had a speed limit of 18 mph in honor of Manning’s collegiate number.
No more.
The school changed that speed limit Friday night to a more common number — 10 mph — in honor of the now two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning, who, of course, wore No. 10 while playing for Ole Miss from 2000-03.
Ole Miss will kick off the Hugh Freeze era with the Grove Bowl, which takes place today at 1 p.m.
