Nearly a year after being charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff will have his record cleared.

Per the Oregonian, Huff was acquitted of his DUII charges in a Eugene courtroom today. According to a report from the Eugene Register-Guard, Huff was originally believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol after he was pulled over by police last March for speeding. However, the receiver passed a breathalyzer test and was later accused of being under the influence of marijuana when a drug test came back positive.

However, Huff’s attorney claimed a second urine test came back negative. Huff had pleaded not guilty to the charges and his court date of July 12, 2012 was moved to this year.

Huff took to his Twitter account on Thursday to express his relief.

Huff finished the 2012 season with 32 receptions for a team-leading 493 yards and seven touchdowns.
