Cue up the Ohio State tattoo jokes, if you wish.

He will not officially become an Ohio State Buckeye until 2017, but Danny Clark is already establishing a somewhat permanent relationship with the program. Clark had a giant “Block O” tattooed on his arm, complete with the date of his official commitment, December 13, 2013. Ohio Stat got a nice early jump on his recruitment.

“I have always been exciting to get one, and to think I could get my Buckeye tattoo, I am just so fortunate to be able to be committed and having the offer,” Clark said to Cleveland.com. “I am really blessed. I just felt like it was a good time to get it.”

But what about the depth at the position in Columbus now? That does not appear to worry Clark.

“If I don’t go to Ohio State, it’s going to be my fault,” Clark explained to Cleveland.com. “There’s nothing that would make me not want to go there. For me, it’s kind of an extra motivation to think that one day I am going to be down there playing with them.”

Clark is not yet rated by Rivals (Class of 2017 rankings have not been released yet). According to Rivals, Ohio State has been the only program to extend an offer, with Michigan State and Toledo also showing some early interest in the Massillon, Ohio pro-style quarterback recruit.
