Gators’ Jalen Tabor apologizes for mini-Twitter rant

A one-game suspension that was supposedly related to his refusal to take a drug test wasn’t the only news Florida’s Jalen Tabor made Wednesday.

Shortly after word of his suspension broke, Tabor sent out a tweet on his personal Twitter account revealing his personal feelings on the vortex that is the UF Athletic Association.  Additionally, he retweeted a follower’s tweet that suggested he had made a mistake in opting for the Gators.

Perhaps realizing the error of his social media ways, the starting cornerback deleted the “suck” tweet as well as added a string of tweets apologizing for his little outburst.

Head coach Jim McElwain confirmed the suspension for both Tabor and erstwhile starting quarterback Treon Harris for Saturday’s game against Tennessee.  Harris’ suspension is reportedly related to a failed drug test.
