The Bayou Classic is the annual college football game played in New Orleans between Southern University and Grambling State University, played under that rivalry name since 1974.
After Southern won the matchup the past three years, Grambling State was victorious in the 2015 edition on Saturday, 34-23.
But the competition on the playing field isn’t limited to the two football teams, as the rivalry extends to the marching bands of both institutions.
Widely known as the ‘Battle of the Bands,’ The ‘World Famed’ Tiger Marching Band of Grambling University does battle with the Southern University Marching Band, also known as ‘The Human Jukebox.’
Both marching bands were back at it again on Saturday inside the New Orleans Superdome, and both unique performances can be seen below:
